By Jamie Pert - May 20, 2010

Today has been a great day for Samsung smartphone news, earlier we saw the amazing Samsung Galaxy S with it’s Super AMOLED display, then we heard of a Vodafone UK release for the bada-based Samsung Wave, now we have some Samsung Omnia HD2 (i8920) news for you.

What we have for you is a Samsung Omnia HD photo and some news about handset specifications. We will start with the photo, it is not the greatest of quality but appears to show the handset running the upcoming Symbian^3, there are mixed feelings about this OS, therefore we cannot say whether this is a good thing.

In terms of hardware specifications the handset looks pretty desirable, the combination of a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, 12 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi b/g/n and at least 16GB of storage should set the foundations for a pretty decent smartphone.

The Omnia HD2 will also be available with 32GB of storage, which should be great for storing your 720p HD video (at 30 frames-per-second) which can be captured with the handset’s impressive camera.

it rather looks like demo piece phone (the one retailers have in their shop) with a oversize sticker of i8910 pasted instead of a display which coming out of its area 4m the left side n the network notifier is also not able 2 b seen, even if the sim is not inserted it should display a cross mark instead.
