Google TV: Launching Fall 2010

The new service is being hailed by Google as “when the web meets TV and TV meets the web”. Web apps are going to be available and a YouTube user interface named YouTube Leanback. Internet functionality is coming to change the traditional TV watching experience.

The YouTube Leanback uses normal content from the site but turns it into more like a normal TV channel. Google are currently working with companies to develop a specialized input device.
