Android phones are certainly coming into their own, and are slowly taking the smartphone world by storm. The iPhone used to be in a league of its own when it was first released to the public, but Android enabled smartphones didn’t lie down, so in this post we aim to tell you the top 10 Android phones available on the market.

In at number 10 is one of the many Motorola devices with the Android OS. The Motorola Devour is hailed with great social networking features, although it lacks in design, and the camera is mediocre at best. T-Mobile’s myTouch 3G comes in at number 9, with HTC dominating the next two spots with the Hero and the Droid Eris in at 8 and 7 respectively. Samsung finish of f the bottom-end of the top 10 with their ‘Moment’ device which comes with an impressive AMOLED display, and hardware keyboard. The only reason it fails is due to a slow responsive touchscreen and quirky software.

The Top 5 wont be much of a surprise to hardcore Android users, and we start where we finished off with the Samsung Behold II. Again, with a beautiful AMOLED display and good quality camera, it will be hard for Samsung users to turn away from this. Motorola’s last two devices pop up in 4th and 3rd with the ‘Cliq’ and the ‘Droid’. The Cliq is acclaimed as the “social butterfly’s dream phone,” and the ‘Droid’ is the first Android 2.0 phone with a catalog of impressive web features and 3.7-inch screen.

To finish off the top 10, it could only be a choice of these two superb phones which show us what Android really can do. Google dip themselves in the market and come up with an impressive phone called the ‘Nexus One’. Something you have probably heard about on a regular basis in the past few months. The device comes with the ever-impressive AMOLED display, cool tweaks to the OS, and super-lightning quick performance. Something Google have always aimed at with all products. The only reason this phone slips in the second position is because certain network issues stop the phone working to it’s full potential.

The HTC Droid Incredible. It’s all in the name. This phone surpasses most of the readily available phones on the market, Android or non-Android. If you are seriously looking into getting the next best smartphone, or even a superphone. This should be your choice. The Droid Incredible holds everything you could possibly want from your phone. Super fast processing time, amazing user-interface, beautiful display and a horde of quality features.
