Blizzard have finally announced the opt-in’s for the World of Warcraft: Cataclysm closed beta, so if you don’t want to be left out in the cold bitterness of Northrend, and instead bathe on the sun scape of the goblin isle of Kezan, read on.

To opt-in to the closed beta, you must first make sure you are eligible to apply for the closed beta by making sure you have a valid World of Warcraft licensed associated with your Battle.net account, making sure to have your current system specs uploaded on the Battle.net Beta Profile Settings page, and have also selected the available check boxes which show you are interested in the franchise.

There is still is no clear date as to when the official release of the new expansion will be, but we are expecting a release sometime this summer – Especially with all the Catacylsm leaks that have been happening lately, its gotta be soon… surely.
