iPhone Vietnam vs. Gizmodo 4G Prototype

The next-generation iPhone has not spent too long out of the news since Gizmodo took possession of the new iPhone 4G prototype last month. We thought that there was only one missing, but according to our recent article – another has been spotted in Vietnam.

So we have two iPhone prototypes, we now have to examine the both to see what the differences are. The Vietnamese model is a 16GB version but unlike the Gizmodo model – has never been able to boot its OS. Upon first inspection both look the same as each other, it is not until you take a much closer look that you begin to see subtle changes.

According to Engadget, they state that the 2010 iPhone spotted in Vietnam is much closer to a retail model as the screws at the bottom are now gone. The blog has a number of comparison photos for you to compare the two; the differences are subtle, nut they are there.

We mentioned in a recent post that the inner workings looks different to the Gizmodo model, you a clearly see that A4 processor now. This is the first real sign of the iPhone now utilizing the processor from the iPad. That is all we can spot for now, did you see any other differences?
