After the leaks of a supposed genuine next generation iPhone finding its way into the hands of Gizmodo, and also a prototype landing in Vietnam, we have new pictures that apparently show the iPhone 4G / HD / Pro operating on iPhone OS 4.0.
Of all the leaks so far, nothing has yet shown what OS the device will be running, so this COULD be the first glance at what the next iPhone OS will look like.
Of course, with leaks there is always some doubt, and so far we have no proof that this is a working version of OS 4.0 running on the next generation iPhone. It could easily be a photoshopped image (check the image at the end of this post and decide for yourself).
Engadget have also confirmed that the “N90 PRO2” markings on the phone do signify that it is an older prototype of the “N90” codenamed development devices. We will keep you up to date with any more news regarding this interesting leak.
Do you think the image of the next-gen iPhone running OS 4.0 is a fake? Do you believe OS 4.0 will be deployed with the iPhone? Have your say in the comment section below.
