The great features of the HTC Evo 4G, like its front-facing camera and the lovely 4.3-inch screen have already been commented on. With Sprint launching the device on June 4th 2010, PCWorld are reporting on the pros and cons of the device.

The handset has received good reviews so far with the words “awesome” and “breathtaking” used. The asking price of $199 for the feature packed phone is very competitive. Even the off contract price of $450 is really good compared to the Nexus One which costs $529.

There are downsides to the Evo 4G, with the fact it is has Android 2.1 OS and not 2.2. The phone is mandatory 4G so users who do not live in cities with WiMax will still have to pay an extra $10. And there are concerns with the devices battery not lasting for long if the users don’t manually switch off the 4G when roaming. For the full story click the link above.
