We offered you details on the new Sony Alpha NEX-3 and Nex-5 Cameras yesterday, but now we have some great news for you – both of these new devices are up for pr-order. Sony Style did not mess about, the website only gave us 24-hours to digest all of the information that was made available to us.
Engadget reports that pre-orders are now being accepted on the Sony Style store, but you will have a few tough decisions to make – do you go with the NEX-3 or NEX-5, and what size lens do you choose? There is a choice of a 16mm lens or an 18-55mm lens for just $50 extra.
The price for the NX-3 is $549.99, that’s with the 16mm lens; while the NEX-5 with its same size lens will set you back $699. The extra costs give you a more precise lens and a couple of other little features – so you will need to weigh-up if they are worth the extra $150.
You need to make certain that you make the right choice with the size of the lens you want, as you are unable to order them separately. There is a choice of other accessories available for both cameras, more details can be found on the Sony Style website.
