By Alan Ng - May 12, 2010

Remember that mysterious square-shaped Motorola device that we told you about recently? Well we now have a name to share with you, along with full specs and release details for the device.

As reported from BGR, the device is said to be called the Motorola Flipout. It will be a MOTOBLUR handset and will come equipped with version 2.1 of the Android OS.

Specs include a 2.8-inch display screen, QWERTY keyboard, 3.1 megapixel camera, 700MHz processor, GPS, WiFi, 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM. We are unsure what memory storage the Flipout will contain – but we hope to have this cleared up soon for you.

It will come in three delightful colors and should be available from next month (June). Let us know what you think of the design – personally, I’m not too impressed.
