We have some exciting news for Android fans now, as a new video has popped up, which is thought to show the Google Nexus One handset running the latest version of the Android OS.
As reported from RedmondPie, no specific mention of Android OS 2.2 Froyo was made in the video, but a close-up look at the differences in the interface between 2.1 and 2.2 suggests that early builds of the software are already in developers hands.
The video focuses on Adobe Flash content on the Nexus One, but the exciting thing here, is that the video could actually prove that a public release of Android 2.2 may not be too far off.
A screenshot taken from the video over at RedmondPie, shows the exact changes in the homescreen between 2.1 and 2.2. Could this just be a custom made homescreen launcher, or could this actually be 2.2 running in the wild?
You decide!
