Nokia Sues Apple: Now iPad 3G

By Updated on

Nokia have today announced they are now to sue Apple over the iPad3G, adding to the iPhone it is already suing them for. This latest lawsuit that was filed in the U.S. Federal Court of the Western District of Wisconsin, shows five Nokia Patents that the iPad 3G and the iPhone have alleged to infringe.

The patents that Nokia are claiming Apple have infringed are technologies for data transmission and enhanced speech, designs in antenna that save space and improve performance. Using positioning data in applications is also a patent that Apple is accused of infringing.

In October of last year Nokia filed a lawsuit against Apple over ten different patent violations, before Apple countersued over 13 patents. Both companies then filed complaints with the U.S. International Trade Commission to block each other from importing its products into the country. Then in March the judge suspended the suit until investigations by the ITC are complete. For more on this story pleas visit ZDnet.

    Careful Nokia,

May the Force be with you but I'm not sure I want you to win this lawsuit. See, if you do, it means that Apple stole your tech. And there will be NO END to Steve and the Apple Fanboy whining. HAHAHHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHA!
