Apple have finally announced when some more of the world will be getting the iPad. Another nine countries will be getting the device on May 28th. People wishing to get their hands on the device will be able to pre-order it from this Monday May 10th via Apples’ online store.
The countries UK, Canada, Italy, Japan, Australia, Switzerland, Spain, France and Germany, were listed to be getting the device. So far over one million of the devices have been sold across the United States, with more than 12 million apps have been downloaded from the App Store.
In July Apple plan to roll out the device to New Zealand, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Ireland, Austria, Luxembourg, Mexico, Belgium, and Singapore. Prices in Europe range from £429/€479 for the entry 16 GB Wi-Fi model and £699/€779 for the 64GB Wi-Fi+3G iPad. Head over to engadget for further details.
