iPhone 4G Prototype: Media request details of Search Warrant

Some interesting news to report to you now, as it has been revealed that a number of media organisations have asked the judge who granted the search warrant of Gizmodo editor Jason Chen’s home, to reveal the exact nature of the warrant.

As reported from Apple Insider, the Associated Press, Wired.com, LA Times and BloomBerg News are just some of the big names who are seeking further information on the warrant which allowed police to search the home of Jason Chen and obtain various electronics equipment which police believe may have been used to commit a felony.

Gizmodo on the other hand, are still considering whether or not to sue the police over the matter, and Apple unsurprisingly, has stayed silent on the matter.

Do you think the media companies mentioned have a right to know the exact nature of the search warrant or not? The article through the link has the full story.
