Blizzard have integrated with the worlds most popular social networking website – Facebook, to allow gamers to share data, stats, scores and strategies with the rest of their Blizzard and Battle.net friends.
The plan for Blizzard is to bring players from different games and realms under their guise together, by being able to share their gaming life with their fellow Facebook and Battle.net contacts.
They will do this by identifying which players in your friends list are already members of Blizzards competitive gaming matchmaker, much like what Microsoft use on their Xbox 360 Facebook interlink.
But when will this feature be available? According to Blizzard, it will be available “in the near future”. Most likely when StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty hits the shelves on July 27.
What do you think of Blizzards aim to connect people throughout their hugely popular gaming database, which consists of Diablo, World of Warcraft and of course, StarCraft.
