By Jamie Pert - May 5, 2010

Yesterday we revealed some information regarding the Motorola Shadow, details regarding this handset are still unconfirmed, however many believe that the Shadow will be the successor to the popular Motorola Droid.

A recent article posted on Phandroid lists some possible specifications for the Shadow, if these turn out to be accurate the Shadow looks to be a pretty desirable handset.

Phandroid believe that the Shadow will feature a 4.3 inch touchscreen display which supports a resolution of 854 x 480, also it will come with an 8 megapixel camera which is capable of recording video at 720p.

In terms of performance the handset should be pretty snappy, it will run (according to Phandroid) Android 2.1 and will feature a TI OMAP 3630 chip, which has the PowerVR SGX530 graphics processor this will be accompanied by 512MB of RAM.

Phandroid also predict the handset to be very thin and light and will feature Moto Blur with 7 home screens. Obviously at the moment we must treat all of this as a rumor, however if these turn out to be accurate the Shadow could be a real competitor in the smartphone market, will you buy the Motorola Shadow?
