HTC Legend: AT&T release date around the corner

By Alan Ng - May 5, 2010

We have some exciting news for AT&T customers in the U.S now, as we are hearing reports that the HTC Legend phone could be landing on the network soon – after it was spotted on the FCC website.

As reported from BGR, the Legend was first spotted back in February with a FCC ID of B76100, but this time it has been approved with the same label, but with added support for the 850/1900 MHz bands of W-CDMA.

You wont need us to tell you that these are the bands which AT&T support, so if you put 2+2 together – the HTC Legend could be landing very soon indeed.

How do you feel about this? It is the natural successor to the popular HTC Hero device, but will you still pick it up, or do you have your eyes on another handset in the market?

I've been waiting on news of the HTC Desire. If AT&T doesn't get something like it soon (and NOT the Legend) then they can kiss this customer goodbye because the Incredible is the next best thing to me.

I have been waiting for this particular phone for MONTHS! It is the only one I want to get. But, I thought (and was really hoping) it would be on Sprint.
