Sony Dash Specs and Apps: Internet Viewer Launched

Electronista.com are reporting that Sony’s new Personal Internet Viewer Dash is now being sold on the company’s web site, and selling for the promised $200. The device doubles as an alarm clock and has daily weather reports.

The Dash is not for full web browsing, but has access to over 1000 free internet apps using the built-in Wi-Fi. These include a relaxing lava lamp, news, daily horoscope, email viewer, and games such as mini golf. YouTube and Photobucket apps are built-in to the device.

Owners can listen to Internet radio stations and their favorite MP3 music, with a 3.5mm audio socket and USB connection built-in. Social networking such as Facebook can also be accessed with the device. For more information on the new Sony Dash please click here.
