Music fans can now get a clever app that will help find out about live music events, has just been launched for the iPad. BandMate: Concert Tipster HD 3.0, has been developed to fully take advantage of the new iPads features and look.
Released by Austin based WellAlright, the app analyses the users music stored in the device, and then comes up with any upcoming concerts for the bands the user already listens to and ones they might be interested in. Artist’s biography is accompanied by high resolution images and song clips on the event information screen.

A new pop-up music player allows a user to listen to music they already have for an artist. The concert recommendation has been improved to allow easy customization, if users decide they do not want a certain artist to be recommended they can remove it via a simple menu option.
Event listing screens have been improved to take advantage of the iPads larger screen. Users can share any information via Facebook, Twitter, and email. Each event comes with a probability score of how strong the recommendation is. There is even the option to purchase tickets for the event.
