Palm Takeover: Lenovo Now Favorite not HTC / Huawei

Recently we have posted articles regarding a Palm takeover, previously companies such as HTC and Huawei have been linked to the acquisition, however now the strong favorite seems to be Lenovo.

Lenovo are currently the world’s number four PC brand, it is thought that the company’s shares have hit a 23-month high thanks to the rumors surrounding the Palm takeover, experts believe this takeover could allow them to establish themselves in the smartphone market.

As previously mentioned HTC were involved in earlier rumors of a takeover, perhaps it would be worth purchasing Palm rather than let Lenovo become a competitor in the smartphone market, what do you think?

HTC, Lenovo, Huawei and Palm have declined to comment on the rumored takeover, therefore we will have to keep you posted as more information is revealed.
