The tablets are really coming thick and fast now. After exciting first pictures of the HP Slate tablet, we now have details on the Android equipped Cruz Tablet from Velocity Micro.
As reported from Phandroid, this tablet is thought to be ‘coming soon’ and packs a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and an 800mhz processor. On top of that you’ll have full Flash 10.1 support and expandable memory via SD.
Interestingly, you’ll be able to purchase new content for the Cruz via the unique ‘Cruz Market’- hopefully we’ll bring you more details on this soon.
It has been confirmed that the device will run Android 2.1, but if this device gains an update to 2.2 Froyo, then things could really get interesting in relation to competition with the mighty iPad.
Let us know your thoughts on the Cruz. Interested in this alternative or not?
