Batman Arkham Asylum 2: Release Date now in 2011, not 2010?

We have some interesting news to bring you now, as we are hearing reports that Batman: Arkham Asylum will now be releasing sometime in 2011, and not this year as some of you had hoped.
As reported from VG247, this is not a delay of any sort, since no estimated release was given by Rocksteady in the firstplace. We knew it was coming months ago – we just didn’t know ‘when’.
Here is what a UK retailer told CVG this week: “We’ve been told that Warner has acted early to avoid releasing the game into a heavily congested pre-Christmas market,”
We don’t think too many of you will be upset over this. AA was such a great game that we’re sure most of you want the developers to take their time on the sequel – how ever long it takes.
We have heard rumors about Two-Face and Mr.Freeze appearing in the game this week though. Let us know your thoughts on a 2011 release.
