Wow: Cataclysm, Mage Changes – New Spells, Talents and Mechanics

World of Warcraft fans have probably been happy with all of the recent Cataclysm news which has recently been revealed, we have now come across information regarding the changed which Blizzard are making to the Mage class.

Probably the most exciting news is that there will be new Mage spells, when you reach level 81 you will able to cast the new “Flame Orb” spell, this spell fires an orb which travels in a straight-line, if it comes in contact with targets it causes fire damage.

There are also two other new spells, one of which is called “Time Warp” and the other is called “Wall of Fog”, check out the link towards the end of this post for full details regarding these spells.

The mechanics and abilities of a Mage will also been changed, there will be a redesigned Arcane Missiles spell and a few spells will be removed, removed spells include Amplify Magic, Dampen Magic, Fire Ward, and Frost Ward.
