WoW / World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Changes: Mount Hyjal

By Jamie Pert - Apr 21, 2010

This week has been a good week in terms of revelations for the upcoming World of Warcraft: Cataclysm expansion pack, previous posts this week have shown the Sunken City Vashj’ir, also we have heard of a rumoured 5-man dungeon which is apparently called Uldam.

Blizzard recently released a preview of Mount Hyjal, this will arrive as part of the Cataclysm expansion, apparently Mount Hyjal will be a questing zone for levels 78-82.

The official description states that Cataclysm will allow players to explore the reopened Mount Hyjal, here there will be portals to micro-zones, quest hubs, a new dungeon and multiple quest hubs.

Apparently the main quest (defending Nordrassil) will be a daunting task, therefore help from the Ancients will be key, getting the assistance of the Ancients will require you to “recapture the shrine of the wolf god Goldrinn”, however the ogres surrounding the shrine will put up a strong fight.

If you check out the link below you can find out fully detailed information about Mount Hyjal.
