We have some news just in now, as Apple has confirmed that pre-orders for the 3G version of the iPad will be shipping out to customers in the U.S on April 30th, while they also confirmed a time that the device will be available in retail stores.
As reported from Apple Insider, customers who are opting to pick up a WiFi + 3G iPad in an Apple retail store, will be able to do so on Friday 30th April, at 5pm.
If you are thinking of heading down to an Apple store, expect to pay $629 for the 16GB model. If you want even more storage, the 32GB version is $729, while the most expensive 64GB option stands at $829.
You’ll be pleased to know that the 3G version offers around 9 hours of battery life when surfing the web using a 3G data connection, while the WiFi version will offer slightly more at 10 hours.
