While the Volcano in Iceland has been causing most of you a spot of bother, we do have one happy ending to tell you about now, as a couple tied the knot using Skype when flights were not available due to closed airspace.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, Sean and Natalie Murtagh were due to catch a flight to the UK from Australia to meet relatives for the big day, but were stranded in Dubai due to the ongoing chaos involving flights in and out of Europe.
However, hotel staff in Dubai saved their day, as they equipped the hotel lobby with a three-tier wedding cake, Skype and a huge projector, meaning that family back in the UK didn’t miss a thing.
While this is one happy ending for the couple, it looks as if those of you planning to go on holiday this week, may still face further disruptions as the ash cloud settles above the skies.
