Ubisoft’s Splinter Cell: Conviction has been a long time coming, however finally launched on the Xbox 360 a few days ago, we are now hearing that the game has topped the GfK Chart-Track All Formats Top 40 chart.
This is the fifth time this year that Ubisoft have topped the UK charts, last week Ubisoft’s Nintendo Wii release Just Dance topped the charts, however this has been knocked down to second place.
Apparently this is the first time Ubisoft have ever had titles in first and second place simultaneously, this combined with being the fifth week at the top of the UK charts shows that 2010 has been a great year from Ubisoft so far.
The week ending April 17th saw Splinter Cell: Conviction at the top of the charts followed by Just Dance, in third place was Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories, fourth place Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and in fifth was Wii Fit Plus.
