iPhone 4G Prototype: Is it a joke, should we move along?

We have an update on our previous article, regarding Jonathan Ive’s statement on Twitter. He has now updated his profile, stating that ‘it is a joke’. Do you believe him or not?

But what ‘it’ is he referring to exactly? Is he talking about Gizmodo’s whole review, or the actual existance of the leaked device itself?

Well, you have to say it would be pretty funny if this whole thing turns out to be a joke, but April Fools Day was weeks ago. Jonathan Ive, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Industrial Design also suggests that we should ‘move on’.

What are your thoughts on his comments? Do you think that the whole thing is a joke, or is he trying to play down the enormity of the situation?
