We are sure most of you have heard about the volcano in Iceland that erupted recently. While the eruption of Eyjafjallajokull has been causing chaos across Europe, enthusiasts have been desperately trying to capture a photo of the magnificent view.
Luckily for you, we have some great images of the Volcano erupting, as well as the ash cloud that has been drifting across parts of Europe – cancelling thousands of flights in the process.
You can view the new pictures over at the GEarthBlog, but you can also download the .KML file if you would like to see this on the Google Earth software for yourself.
There is also a guide on how to view some images of the volcano using the GeoEye Featured Imagery. Let us know your thoughts on the pictures.
