Apple iPhone 4G: June Announcement Confirmed – SaskTel

By Jamie Pert - Apr 15, 2010

Yesterday we posted an article which suggested that Apple may be holding an event at the Yerba Buena Center in June, at the time of our previous post we speculated that this event could perhaps see the unveiling of the highly anticipated iPhone 4G.

Recently SaskTel’s (Canadian carrier) CEO Robert Watson made some comments regarding the event, his comments appear to have confirmed our speculation, a quote from him pretty much guarantees that a new iPhone will be announced in June.

Here is a quote of what he said “The good news is that (Apple) is coming out with a new version of the iPhone in the June time-frame and they’re going to put us on that. So we’re quite excited about that”, no doubt that if this is truly what he said it may leave SaskTel in Apple’s bad books.

To be honest I feel that a June 22nd unveiling of the iPhone 4G will fit in perfectly with Apple’s previous releases, what do you think?
