Palm Buyout: Huawei Vs HTC for takeover?

While we recently heard that HTC were planning to buyout Palm, we have fresh reports that another big name company may be planning a takeover of their own.
As reported from BGR, Palm may actually be seeking a buyer overseas, as we are hearing that Huawei is the latest company to add their name to the growing list of potential suitors.
While reports of the takeover have only just hit the headlines this week, it is thought that Palm approached Huawai some two months ago, proposing several ideas to the Chinese manufacturer.
Nothing is concrete yet, but we wonder what the likes of HTC, Lenovo, RIM and Dell think about this, knowing that Palm were already in talks with Huawei months ago.
