Apple iPad: 3G Versions Coming to Rogers
By: Jamie Pert | April 14, 2010 | 1 Comment
Back in late March we reported that the Apple iPad should be available in Canada as of April 24th, we are now hearing that if you want a 3G model Rogers will be the carrier offering data price plans for the new tablet.
If you are a Canadian looking to purchase a 3G version of the iPad we have some good and bad news for you, the good news is that the 3G iPad seems set for a Rogers release, the bad news is that the Rogers iPad may not be available until the end of May.
Currently this is unconfirmed, therefore we have no idea of data plan pricing, however I am sure it will be similar to AT&T’s data plans. Currently AT&T’s iPad plans allow 250MB of data per month for $14.99, whereas unlimited data (fair usage policy applies) will cost $29.99.
As we hear of a confirmed data plan and release date from Rogers we will keep you posted, for more details check out the link below.
