iPhone 4G: Who will buy on release date?

If Apple choose to release an iPhone 4G this year there is no doubt that competition in the market is tougher than ever before, therefore we thought that we would see where our readers stood.

Recently Apple revealed some of their plans for iPhone OS 4.0, this will expand the functionality and intuitiveness of previous iPhone versions, however it seems likely that the primary reason to develop iPhone OS 4.0 will be to bundle this with a new iPhone 4G to make this the best software and hardware combination in the smartphone market.

If Apple choose to release the iPhone 4G this summer there will be some stiff competition, the first ever 4G complaint handset will be released by Sprint, this handset is the HTC Evo 4G not only can it connect to Sprint’s super-fast WiMAX network but it also boasts some pretty impressive specifications.

The main handset going up against an AT&T iPhone 4G will be Verizon’s HTC Incredible, this handset’s specifications are “incredible”, it combines a 1GHz Snapdragon processor with a 512MB of RAM, a 3.7 inch OLED display and an 8 megapixel camera, all of this combined with an intuitive Android operating system masked by HTC Sense UI should make the Incredible a real standard setter.

There is also a very a good chance that other competitive handsets will be announced before the iPhone 4G is ever announced, therefore we thought we would ask our readers to answer the simple poll below.
