Gears or War 3: Updated US Release Date, Not April 8th

Earlier today we revealed that Gears of War 3 would finally be released on April 8th 2011, however we are now hearing this release date is not exactly spot on, infact a recent article posted on JoyStiq suggests that a North American release date will come earlier.

Apparently the North American release date will infact take place on April 5th, if you are in Japan and want the game you will have to wait until April 7th and Europeans will have to wait until April 8th.

If you check out JoyStiq’s Gears of War 3 gallery you will see that there are male and female avatar costumes, apparently these will be available from the Avatar Marketplace as of April 20th.
