Some breaking news to bring you now, as ex-Infinity Ward bosses Vince Zampella and Jason West have joined forces with EA to create a brand new studio called Respawn Entertainment.
As VG247 reports, EA has just issued the full press release confirming the news. Vince Zampella new role is to become the General Manager of Respawn Entertainment, while Jason West becomes President of the new company.
In a slight dig at Activision, Jason West had this to say on the news: “Now that the team is in control of the games and brands, we can ensure that the fans are treated as well as they deserve.”
Pretty exciting stuff. Imagine a title like this – ‘Modern Warfare 3, developed by Respawn Entertainment’. They would have to settle this lawsuit first, obviously.
