iPhone OS 4.0: Steve Jobs enters debate over Adobe row

It has been reported that Apple CEO Steve Jobs has responded to a developer’s complaint over recent changes to the iPhone OS license agreement for developers.

As reported from Apple Insider, Greg Slepak, CEO of TaoEffect wrote to Jobs expressing his concerns over Apple’s recent changes to the agreement, with obvious references to the new restrictions of certain Adobe Flash applications.

He told Jobs how general response over Apple’s move were negative, citing Daring Fireball’s John Gruber as a figure who also voiced concern over changes to the agreement.

However, Jobs responded to Slepak, with reference to John Gruber’s comments on the agreement, with the following statement “We think John Gruber’s post is very insightful and not negative.”

It is clear that Apple are standing firm on the whole issue, while it is probably likely that Adobe will find new methods to counter-attack Apple’s new restrictions on Flash.
