Sprint 4G WiMax 2010: Network rollout update

By Alan Ng - Apr 9, 2010

We have some good news for Sprint customers in Kansas City now, as Sprint has just confirmed that their 4G WiMax network will be rolling out to this area sometime this year.

As reported from MobileBurn, Sprint’s chief executive officer Dan Hesse revealed the good news during the network’s 2010 Economic Forecast Mid-Year event in Kansas City.

With Sprint’s 4G network already available in 27 cities with more on the way, customers in Kansas City will be delighted that they’ll also be upgraded to 4G data speeds this Summer.

Sprint may also choose to release the HTC EVO handset when the 4G network is available in Kansas City, so that is even better news for you.

How do you not turn it on in your own backyard? This is long overdue. Another misstep. Great products, good company, ran by idiots that are getting fat paychecks for the same dumb decisions!
