iPhone OS 4.0 and Enhanced Mail Details

By Peter Chubb - Apr 8, 2010

We have now been following the iPhone OS 4.0 Apple Event for an hour now and we have already learned of three new features, Multitasking, Folders and Game Center. Now we would like to talk about Enhanced Mail – this feature is something that we have wanted for sometime, finally nice to see it coming.

The first thing you need to know about this new feature is unified mail – meaning that you can have more than one Exchange account. This makes it much easier to focus on one account, and then use fast inbox switching to view another.

Apple has also added the option to organize by thread. So that is the fourth main feature from the upcoming iPhone OS 4.0, which devs can download today. For more details visit Engadget.
