Crackdown 2 Xbox 360 Review: More of the Same

The first Crackdown game for the Xbox 360 was a fun open-world where you could experience huge explosions while playing your game. Crackdown 2 cannot afford to do the same thing twice so will need to offer a number of improvements over the original game – Joystiq aims to see if this has been achieved with a review of the game.

The single-player mode will start with a recap of the events from the previous game; this feature should keep critics happy – as they were unhappy with how the first game did not offer a narrative aspect. Crackdown 2 also offers more of a story this time, so should even keep the user happy.

Ruffian Games is the new developer for the game and hopes that they have been able to stay as faithful to the game as possible – straying away too much would be a huge mistake.

Read a full review of Crackdown 2 on the Joystiq website, where they do fear that the new game is much of the same as its predecessor – apart from some key improvements.
