Remember how certain issues prevented the release of the BBC News application on the iPhone a while back? Well it has been confirmed that the BBC has just released a new application – for the Apple iPad.
As reported from Pocket-Lint, the app has been specifically aimed at the US market, and will not be appearing for iPad owners in the UK.
The app will be free to download, but supported by ads within, and will allow iPad owners to browse the latest news from categories such as business, technology, entertainment and sport.
You’ll also be able to download video content from the BBC iPad app, so you can view it later when you are not connected to the internet.
Full details over at PL, let us know if you’ll be using the BBC iPad app.
