Will iPhone 4G work on Verizon LTE network?

Rumors of a Verizon iPhone have been going on for months, and as we get closer to the summer, our focus now shifts to a possible iPhone 4G on AT&T and Verizon. However, some of us are already looking to 2011 Verizon iPhone and the fact that it could be a full 4G LTE version.

There are a few things that need answering first; such as will iPhone 4G work on the Verizon Long Term Evolution network? There is no guarantee that Verizon will get the smartphone when the AT&T exclusivity ends, but they would be the perfect choice.

We are certain that the full 4G iPhone will work on the Verizon network, but a lot of work has to happen first. We know that they have better coverage than AT&T, but the former tends to have poorer 3G speeds – this needs correcting long before LTE is fully launched across the U.S.

We would say that the iPhone would work on the Verizon LTE, but that is not going to happen anytime soon – let us hope that the new iPhone HD is released on AT&T and Verizon in the summer. Read more on the latest iPhone.
