Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vs Medal Of Honor: EA address worries

By Updated on

EA has addressed some of the worries that gamers have in relation to Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and upcoming FPS Medal of Honor – both of which are developed by EA DICE.

As reported from ThatVideoGameBlog, DICE producer Gordon Van Dyke spoke in a recent interview to calm some of the worries that most of you have.

First of all, he states that Medal of Honor ‘will not’ be a clone of Bad Company 2, adding that Medal Of Honor gives the team a different way to ‘express themselves’ through the multiplayer part of the game.

It is interesting that DICE will have developed Medal Of Honor, another first person shooter just six months apart from Bad Company 2.

Here is how Dyke summed it up for you: “It’s just like if you went and saw one action movie and then another one came out that year, you’re not gonna say, ‘Oh, I’m not going to go see that one.’’

But what do you think of this? It is no doubt that the game is looking great based on recent videos and screenshots we’ve seen. Time will tell EA DICE.

While Dice is working on development of MOH, it is important to note that they are only working on the multiplayer component. I can’t be sure but I believe is is EA LA studio who is developing the game’s SP using the Unreal engine, while DICE is developing the MP using Frostbite.

Well, since we pay several times fore for a game then for a movie, and buy games a lot less often in general. Would it not be like going to 2 expensive action movies in one day? Most people pick one or the other.

EA sucks, but then again, so does activision. I pick neither.
