Apple iPad Apps: More interest than Android and BlackBerry

As we officially enter ‘Apple iPad Weekend’, we have some interesting news to bring you now, as it has been reported that developer interest for the iPad is higher than interest for Android and BlackBerry handsets combined.

As reported from Apple Insider, a recent study by mobile analytics Flurry revealed that the iPad has 22 per cent of new project starts by developers, with Android on 10 per cent, and the iPhone obviously in front on 67 percent.

If you consider the fact that the iPad has still not gone on retail sale, it suggests that the future remains bright for the iPad.

Flurry has also concluded that the iPad App Store currently has around 2,000 applications already available for purchase, before the device is available itself.
