Yesterday at the New York Auto Show 2010 Lincoln took the opportunity to unveil their 2011 MKZ Hybrid model, this is Lincoln’s first-ever hybrid model.
This model combines a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors, this gives the car a pretty impressive 191 horsepower, in the city the car will be pretty economical and should deliver 41 miles per gallon.
As you would expect Lincoln’s MKZ Hybrid features some luxury features which set it part from other Hybrids, the car’s seats are covered in Scottish “Bridge of Weir” leather, also the car’s interior is decorated with walnut trim.
One of the most impressive things about this car is that the ignition key is programmable, this can enable you to limit top speed and stereo volume, which would be great if you use this for business use.
