iPad Reviews: Apple Tablet Well Received by Critics
By: Peter Chubb | April 1, 2010 | Leave a CommentWith just days to go until you get your hands on the iPad, critics have been offering their first reviews on the Apple tablet, and it seems like it is being well received. Most reviews are positive with few reservations – MSNBC thought that they would offer a review round up from some of the top publications in the business.
The Wall Street Journal spent some time with the tablet and just loves the interface and design – well what would you expect from an over grown iPod Touch. WSJ says that only time will tell if the Apple iPad will be able to replace the netbook and laptop. We expect it to be the former rather than the latter.
New York Times picks up on the fact that it is not a laptop and cannot do a number of things that you can do on one either. However, they do point out that it is more convenient, for listing to music and reading books.
PC Magazine notices the limitation of the iPad, such as not being able to do basic tasks. But what it can do, it does it well. There is no denying that the Apple iPad has a lot to offer, but the biggest test will come on Saturday April 3, 2010, the day that you the consumer tell us what you think.
