Research In Motion: Year-End Positive for BlackBerrys

Research in Motion (developer of the BlackBerry) has recently posted their end of year results for fiscal 2010, and I must say they must be very happy with their results as there seems to be growth in every area.
RIM’s recently released figures show that revenue during the last financial year grew by 35% (compared to last year’s figures), their revenue this year was apparently up to $15 billion.
Shipments of BlackBerry smartphones have also gone up, again compared to last year’s results they saw a impressive growth, apparently to around 37 million shipments which equates to a growth of 40%.
Also BlackBerry was the number one selling smartphone brand in the U.S. during the calendar year 2009, if you would like to see fully detailed information regarding their financial year check out the link below.
