iPhone on Verizon: AT&T Still better choice

With news of the Verizon iPhone now shifting up a gear since the recent WSJ article – you can be certain that comparisons will now be made between the two carrier versions. However, PC World does warn us that we should think twice and consider a few things.
The first thing they point out is the lack of evidence on the Wall Street Journal article – it could all be true, but we will have to wait for an official announcement from either Verizon or Apple.
For iPhone to release a model for Verizon three things need to happen, they need to develop a CMDA version, they will need to come to an agreement on a price and finally agree to drop V Cast in support of the App Store.
Apple and AT&T have enjoyed a great partnership, there have been a number of rumors that this exclusivity ends this summer – but we have seen no evidence of this. If Verizon were to get their hands on the iPhone, the AT&T version would still have more to offer, as it has a three-year advantage.
Then there is the whole AT&T Verizon network coverage issue, yes the former has faster 3G speeds, but the latter has greater 3G coverage – so you will have to way up what is best for you.
Who would you choose, AT&T or Verizon?
