Following iPhone 3GS launch in India, it’s HTC Smart

After the launch of the iPhone 3GS in India, comes the news that the HTC Smart will be joining it. Launched by Bharti Airtel, the phone has a three mega-pixel fixed focus camera, and a 2.8 inch resistive display.

Owners can configure the phone to reflect their mood by choosing one of the handsets scenes. The user interface is easy to use, and allows quick access to all the phones features. The HTC Smart has opted to use Qualcomm Brew as its operating system, instead of Windows Mobile or Android.

The phone has a contact manager which has Facebook, e-mail and sms all together in one easy to access place. HTC Smart will be selling for Rs.9, 900, which is an affordable price for a Smartphone.
