Users running Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard now can get an updated utility which helps to find and remove duplicate files from their computer. Decloner 1.2 is an easy to use tool which helps users get rid of unwanted files.

Released by PixelEspresso, Decloner uses a reliable algorithm to find the duplicate files. They are presented in a list which can then be automatically or manually moved to a folder or to Trash. There is a user friendly interface which can quickly scan a large number of files on network, external or internal drives. It can also support exclusion and QuickLook patterns.

Decloner allows users to remove files one at a time, or they can mark several to be removed all at once. Files are moved to a folder of the user’s choice or to Trash, never deleted permanently. The program will not remove all copies of a file. Other features include; Compares files using SHA-1 hash algorithm for reliability, Supports file name exclusion lists, New Follow Aliases preference.
