For all you fans of Bungie, we have a very interesting article for you to read now, in which Bungie community manager Brian Jarrard talks in detail about Halo and their upcoming plans after the game.
In an interview at GDC with IndustryGamers, Jarrard answers questions relating to everything Halo and what effect the release of Halo: Reach will have on the Xbox 360.
But the interesting part comes towards the end of the interview, when he explains about Bungie’s future plans after Halo. When asked what type of genre will the next game be, he had this to say:
”I’m not really at liberty to talk about what genre it’s going to be in but I would say that the studio has had a lot of success in the first-person genre.”
Furthermore, when asked about moving away from the Xbox 360 to perhaps the PS3 or Nintendo Wii, he had this to say: ”But we’re not looking at one particular piece of technology right now. All options are open right now. ”
We’ll let you draw your own conclusions on this one. Time to get excited? – Maybe so. Read the full interview here.
