MW2 Stimulus Map Package: Details Regarding Title Update

As some of you may have heard Modern Warfare 2 on the Xbox 360 requires a title update to fully support the new Stimulus Map Package, this title update is apparently being pushed out now (read here).

Obviously the main purpose of this free title update is to add full support for the new Stimulus Pack, however we are hearing that the update will also bring some new improvements.

Details are scarce at present, however there will apparently be improvements made to the One Man Army perk, not only this but there will be code and matchmaking improvements.

These code and matchmaking updates should allow you to find games which are hosted nearer to you, this should improve the overall multi-player experience, which besides the glitches has been pretty faultless (games do not commonly lag-out in my experience).

        it is not letting anyone update yet and xbox says all they can say is SORRY. All the hype all month and we got a dud. they will take your money right on schedule but you can't play it on time. the guy on the phone just told me xbox told them to tell everyone calling it should be ready in about 24 hours or so. So he said sorry again. I just wasted 30 minutes on the phone and all he can say is SORRY? Not cool

      I try try and keep trying but the update its failing i put the mw2 cd in and i need and update so i accept it and then im right back at the dash board with no update and i did not download the new map pack for mw2 ahhhh why why :(

      i think refunds are in order! ive lost a days wages phoning in sick today, lol! the least they could do is give me my microsoft points back!!!!

      Answer me this 1 question infinity ward, if you bought a new car, paid cash and had it delivered to your house. What would you do if a team of engineers then turned up with car parts sayin "We'll try and get it done for you ASAP" Now you wouldn't be best pleased.

      Did you guys ever stop to think about the fact that there's who knows how many people trying to download the update at the same time? You might be a big part of the problem and download process.

      Finally let me download the update but now its not letting me into any of the matches, keeps coming up with error msgs saying ''communications with the xbox live servers has been interrupted…. not impressed -_-

      When I try to download the package it's erroring out plus I have to buy extra points that'll get wasted. Almost as crappy as the Obama stimulus package.
